Obscenity laws state that in order to be obscene, it must be considered by the community as a whole as being obscene. With this in mind, consider that the porn industry out sells Microsoft by 25%. If thats not the community as a whole accepting pornography, then what is? Let me know what you think.

I think to each their own. If you like porn or if anybody likes porn, then go for it. As long as the porn contains consenting adults, who cares, or more appropriately, why would anybody care?

I only think porn is obscene if it is put on display for everyone else to view, such as children or other people who don;t want to view the porn. As long as it is seen in your private home for yourself, it is fine

Who says it is obscene in your own privacy? Obscentiy law? In this Obscenity law, they said that porn directly was obscene?

I think that it's only obscene if it is made public. In private, it's fine. People can do whatever they want in their own home as long as it's legal and doesn't hurt people (...unless they are consensual BDSM-lovers that like pain and those sorts of things).

Well, it may outsell large corporations, but its not viewed in the community. Its viewed in private (most of the time.) Therefore, acts in private cannot be obscene if they are not seen.

God, I hope it isn't against the law or I am going to be spending the next few years in jail.
I enjoy watching porn. Especially with someone. And it is nobody's business what I do in the privacy of my home as we all know sex isn't limited to the bedroom.

It is a small group trying very hard to demonize pornography because people are having intercourse in them. Sex makes some people uncomfortable. Poor schmucks.
