We all know that no matter how much you bash a person's beleifs they will not change their minds. So why can't we all just stop insulting one another and respect eachother's opinons?Lets stop with the stupid stereotyping and generalizations...because it does not get us anywhere, each person is different and just because you are in one party does not mean you agree with everything that party stands for. People ask insulting questions on here...on purpose....just to have people agree with them...so they can feed their ego. Politics are not black and white right and wrong it is all a matter of opinion. I mean we can question someone's opinion but not beat it down to a pulp. I admit I get carried away sometimes too but we all really need to stop and remember we are all Americans and we all want what is best for our country. So lets all grow up and have a more mature YA politics section...okay?

Fantastic idea, first we got to decide which questions are genuine, good ones worth answering? And ignore the ones that just cause separation of people?

Do you know how many times this question has been posed? Have things ever changed? No, and they never will. There are some people here who's only goal is to create friction and incite the wrath of their opposition. I enjoy answering serious, well thought out questions, but I have to confess, I like to rile people up occasionally, always, in what I consider to be a joking manner.

This is politics and Emotions run high. And a lot of what you see here is by kids who have no clue what they are even saying. read some of their answers.
It's like the kid who used to make Prank Telephone calls. They are Anonymous and they just try to shock you to get a reaction. Now they have the internet to do it. There are some folks here who are serious. Just weed thru the Caca.

Buzz brought this very thing up earlier and asked if we could at least remain civil with each other during the 4th of July holidays, while we honor this country. I propose that we do that also.

Let's face it, it's tough to remain civil when people intentionally flame and bait. And to be honest, I do the same thing at times. I think that we're all frustrated and disappointed and it certainly breaks up the monotony. :)

I'm with you and it would be great if we could make amends and get along better.

Thanks.

Yeah, good luck with that. I'm a Libertarian and I don't see any both sides stopping with their insults.

Can? Sure. Everyone is capable of that.
Will? Never happen. People come here to vent & bash.

I agree with you. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, and the fact that we are all more alike than different, says it all.

Sounds good to me, doesn't get anyone any closer to an answer, but it is what stirs up problems.
