Actually he can. The law states that a President can not serve more that 2 consecutive terms in office. It doesn't say anything about successive terms.

No, he can't become vice president. A person is limited to 10 years as president, and since he already has 8, he could not serve more than 2 years as president. So if something happened to Hillary and she was unable to fulfill her duties as president in her first year, the VP would take over... if Bill was the VP at the end of the term he would have 11 years, which is in violation of the Constitution... so no, he cannot run for vice president.

It's not allowed. There is a cap of ten years as president mandated in the Constitution. If The pres died in office before two years into the term, the lawful order of succession could not be followed. The only way it could happen is if the candidate was elected with another vice president, he or she resigned two years or more later and the president appointed him vice president then.

Well,
One, I believe he could run as VP unless he is ineligible for the Presidency which he would have to be if his President was removed from office..

But Bill won't do that. He knows as VP, he would be running a risk. He DOES want back in the White House, because, as a husband, he can get all that wonderful sex without the risk of ":workplace sexual harrassment" :-D

No. He cannot be elected Vice President because the Vice President has to be eligible to fill the Presidency for the entire term if necessary. Legally, he could only fill half of the term, so he would not be eligible.

Nope. Bill can't be Vice President- either. But wouldn't it be INTERESTING if he COULD, & he & Hillary got Elected- and THEN got into a BIG public dispute about HOW the Country was supposed to be run?!! :) We'd become like a Country of 300 million "kids" -watching their "parents" argue about WHOSE "job" it was to take out the "illegal aliens" !!! :)

Because Bill Clinton is forbidden by law from being President, he would be automatically unable to fulfill his duties as Vice President.

(Froggy, you're wrong.)

he could be president again, he cant be elected president again. yes he could run on a ticket as vice president. it is highly unlikely that any party would do this though. he could become speaker of the senate, then he would be third in line for the presidency.

Why would that be a hoot? Bringing trash back into the house is funny to you? He can't be VP because he could never be President again.
