how does this at&t dsl extreme 6.0 compare to a cable connection??

i game alot online through xbox and i cannot stand a slow computer, i just want to know which is better

Cable is better hands down, unless you live right next door to the DSL headend. Most people do not so cable is the best solution for broadband internet. Cable plants use trunk amps, line extenders, and break up the total plant into nodes, that's how they maintain the highest level of performance!

it does not. dsl is much slower than cable internet. get cable internet. the speeds are around 4-6 mbps, while dsl is around 768kbps
