I jsut turned on the news this morning and heard that there's been this huge war of the words/ cat fight between Ann Coulter and John edwards brewing for the last few weeks. I'm surprised I haven't heard any of this stuff. Can someone tell me what's going on? I don't want biased opinions or hear anything negative about either side, I just want facts.

Unfortunately, it is difficult to avoid saying anything negative when discussing Anne Coulter and her ilk, but I will try.
Anne Coulter has made a name for herself as the shock jock of conservative politics. Her points that might find more of a following are obscured by her tendencies to spew nastiness and half truths. Mrs. Edwards showed that the only way to combat a person like Ms. Coulter is to kill them with kindness. Did Elizabeth Edwards wait for the moment when her words would have the greatest impact on fundraising and the campaign? Though I'm sure that Coulter has been a never healing wound in their side for a long time, she chose the moment when it would expose Coulter for the fraud and parasite that she is.
Sorry that is about as nice as I can be when discussing that woman.

Turns out that Ann C.- has been making particularly nasty remarks about John E. (that he's "Gay" & a closet "terrorist" & etc.). Elizabeth E.- took offence at this, called Ann C. while she was on a televised talk show- and gave Ann. C- a "piece of her mind..." Next thing you know, it's on CNN- and it looks like the fighting in Iraq- all over again!!! :) MY only question IS, WHY pick on John Edwards??! He's the LEAST "offensive" personality of ALL the Candidates! He's Mr "Whitebread" in an assortment of everything ELSE! ... It's ALL very strange... :)

Ann Coulter called John Edwards a f*g and Edwards wife got mad at Coulter and called her up and told her how she feeled about the whole thing.

I just saw the entire clip on MSNBC. I don't particularly like Coulter, but she was taken out of context. That's OK ... I don't like Edwards, either.

I don't care one way or the other about Edwards....but Ann Coulter is an idiot and I no longer listen to anything she has to say about anything..
