1. I check the video card and plug into another PCI express slot.
2. I check the monitor, power is on, and plug into the back side of the computer tower.
3. I have Intel 975XBX2KR Intel Socket 775 ATX Motherboard, check the memory, they are set in the blue (DIMM) slots.
4. Intel® Dual-Core Processors, secure and fan runs good., front & rear fans works also.
5. I restar the computer, and hold the "DELETE" and computer beeps, I am not sure it beeps because I'm holding the key or it just beeps, sounds like short beep 4 times.

Please help me....please

Hello,

Is there any sounds from the pc (beep)?
what's you pc specification? VGA, Motherboard, RAM?

try to follow this steps.
1. check your monitor, have you plug the cable to graphic card, have you plug the power cable. if OK..
2. check your graphic card
-already in good position in motherboard
-check you BIOS setting, if you change the setting recently try to reset it. may be that's the problem.
3. if there any sounds (beep) from the PC, the posibillity are
-memory problems
-graphic cards problem.

Cheers

Did you get any beeps from the POST tests?

All the fans, hard drives and CDs will spin up as soon as the power supply comes up, that does not mean that the CPU is running.

No beeps means that it almost definitely is not. Check that the CPU is seated properly. Check the memory, check all the jumpers. Then check them all again.

If you do get some beeps then listen to how many and check that in the troubleshooting section of the motherboard guide.

Or here:
http://www.amptron.com/html/bios.beepcodes.html

If you still get no joy, pull all the drive cables, pull the video card, put in the minimum memory that will work and try again.

If you get beeps then start adding it all back starting with the video card.

If it is still silent then it could be a bad motherboard or a bad CPU.

Ok troubleshooting 101...try these in order
1. Check the monitor cable
2. Reseat or make sure the video card is seated properly this also includes trying another slot if possible
3. Try another video card
4. If it's a built in video chip can you get into the BIOS? It might be turned off in there
5. take the motherboard out and place it on a non conducting surface and then try and boot up...the mb might be touching some metal in your case and that is what really is happening

Hope these tips help
