I just think that death is moving on to a different stage in our "lives." I think we fear it because it is unknown, but our souls move on into another realm.
A good or happy death is one where someone lived a long life before they died, or were sick and in pain and dealth was a welcome relief.
I belive a sensless death would be one where someone died young and did not get to reach their full potential, or where someone who had dependents died. Usually these would be accidents or murders.

To me death is the end. I do not believe in an afterlife. I see death as part of the natural progression of life. I think a good death is one where the individual is at peace with the concept of death and can accept it with dignity and peace. I hope for that kind of death. When I hear the term senseless in relation to death I think of violence, of someone taking a life from an unwilling victim. By senseful death do you mean sensible? I have never thought of that term with death, but I would say it would be allowing the natural course of thing and being allowed to die instead of prolonging a painful existence by artificial means.

Does the means justify the end? If the condition for our self as externality is the same for after death as before birth, does that mean internality is the same or different. We know as much what was before birth as to what we may hold as expectation for after death. Meaning for life is meaning for death, meaninglessness in life is meaningless death. The Will is positive, the Judgement is negative. The Judgement should serve the Will, not replace it.

Death is simple, everybody does it, no one wants too. Some complicated in fear, in curiosity, in misplaced zeal. The painful truth remains that death is the end of our journey in this world. And as far as good, happy, or senseless death, it really doesn't matter the dead know nothing. And they have no more reward for the memory of them forgotten. Their love, hatred, envy shall perish never more will they share anything done under the sun.

I think this is a very important question, especially right now as we recruit young men and women to join the service and risk their lives for their country. The idea that there can be a meaningful death is important to any idea of patriotism. This has been true for every culture since time began. If your philosophy does not allow for an honorable death, how would you convince young people to risk their lives for your cause?

THE MEANING OF LIFE IS VERY SIMPLE, BUT FOLLOWING IT REQUIRE EFFORT.
Out of all the family, in the world,u were born in your family - Big Question !!!
What is your role, in the family, as a child / brother / sister / son / daughter / all the combination you know off.
The first priority is your parents, in what all way u can support them, then to your younger siblings, and lastly to yourself.
Just experiment for a month on this values, u will feel a satisfaction which is beyond word - but do it sincerly.
Death is death, and nobody is exempted the rich/poor. Everybody is an alarm clock. and everybody has a different time (of death in years). Keep doing ur action -KARMA, the action will take care of itself.
If u have the patience to know yourself, u will come to know every facts of life, but by meditation and devotion u will get ur reply.

We are all born with a death sentence. The price of life is death. There is no happy, good ,sense-full death or senseless death.Death is a fact of life which happens all around us every day.To everything and everyone. It happens so things can become new.Even the spiritual death of the sinful Adam leads to the birth of the new man with his sins washed away.I think the true meaning of death is to purify.

A senseless death is someone who dies young, robbed of experiencing all life has to offer. a happy death is free from pain with your loved ones by your side.

i don't believ in a senseless death. i believ everything happens for a reason, just because our tiny minds can't comprihend something doesn't make it sensless. life must be like a training camp for heaven. our lives matter, but only to some point. who cares about what you're going to wear today or your plans for next week? it matters if you make an effort to help save the world and humanity and if you led a life you could be proud of.

Life & Death -- the Same!
When a tree "dies" and falls to the ground in the forest it becomes "life" for the young plants beginning to grow out of its carcass (p.s. it only makes a sound if there is auditorially functioning sentient creature around).
All life is cyclical... we exist in the Eternal Return.
