Im 16 and im in a boy scout troop. there is this one boy in my troop who is 11 and is constantly following me around. while we were at sumnmer camp which is a 7 day program, he would take every chance he could to try to sit next to me during meal times or other activities. he would sometimes wait outside the shower for me to come out. during the campfire ceremony he tried to rest his head on my shoulder even thoug his dad was on his other side. one of my piers suggest that he respects me. I dont think it is like that

I cant tell him to just leave me alone because he already knows that generaly, i dont like Rednecks as he is one. though i have no problem with that personaly. but if i did he would think it is 4 that reason. Since this is a scouting enviorment, I cant let that happen without concequence. and i cant use violence.

P.S. He thinks he is real and a "G" but he really is a redneck. he aint that bad of a actor thoug.

He's just a little boy that thinks you're really cool. He doesn't think he is "real or a G" or anything. He's just a little boy that wants to act like you do. Pretend he's your little brother. He put his head on you to try to make you notice him. Ignoring him will make it worse, cause he'll try harder to get your attention. Just acknowledge his presence to make him happy. But set boundaries in a nice way. Tell him he can sit next to you, but don't stick his head on you. If he waits for you outside the bathroom just say Hi and walk on. Tell him he can walk with you and your friends, but don't bother us, cause we're doin big kid stuff. Once you notice him, he'll probably get bored hanging out with you, and go find his dad or other little kids.

The kid looks up to you! Your 16 and he's 11, to him you are God. You walk on water. You should feel honered that the little tyke thinks so much of you... I'm sure he doesn't understand what a redneck is and you shouldn't judge him, he's just a kid... Be nice to him and camp will be over and you will be someone he will remember for the rest of his life, and one day he will 16 and he'll be nice to the 11 year old that follows him everywhere...

Try looking at things from his point of view. He probably looks up to you and wants to be like you. Maybe you can be a good influence on him. Isn't that part of the whole scouting thing?

Sounds like you are a racist to me. Learn to respect other cultures and people around you. If he isn't being himself, tell him to quit posing and be the real him. Be friends with new people. Not very scouting of you.

Respect!!

Get over it! It's just 7 days. As long as he doesn't try to kiss you. I don't know what's up with that head resting thing. Tell his dad that he's getting close or tell one of the counselors and they can talk to his dad anonymous.

He may have no friends, maybe you can be his friend and help him find friends. Everyone needs friends just because hes different dosent mean you can't like him. Try to attach yourself to him.

First of all, learn how to spell "though". Second, this kid looks up to you. I know it can be annoying at times, but you should be flattered.

I personally feel that you should be flattered anybody wants to hang around you. I don't want to nor does anybody I know.
