PLEASE take special note, there are some
on this list that are candidates for President.

We can not allow a future President to allow
this to pass during his term..

Quit your belly aching, my question was posed
for the benefit of all those on Y/A that had stated
that they would not vote for anyone that voted
for the amnesty bill. And those that voted
for it need to be thrown out of the Senate.

Thanks for taking the time to post this. Now everyone will be in the know if their senators voted for this. If so, vote them out next term. I am happy to say our senators from my state(SD) voted against it. They will be a keeper.

Keep up the good work of keeping us informed.
We need the borders closed, use our existing laws or amend them.New laws on top of the old ones just confuse the issue.
More support for those on patrol is needed and hank you minute men.
Amnesty should not be a vote getting issue, our country is too important to give way to outside influences

The two from my state voted no. I have been contacting my Legislators by email and calling their offices for the last two years on many issues. This was my number one issue.
While I can't take credit for their votes, I know at least they are listening to their constituents.

I would vote for most of them. Unfortunately, I can only vote for or against the two from my State. The one we must focus on is the one most "disappointed" that this bill failed to make it out of the Senate ~ one George Bush. Did he or didn't he want it? If he did, then why did it lose?? If he didn't, then why did so many Repubs vote for it?
It was just another Red Herring slathered on the media for people like you to vote against whoever voted for it. Of course, only the strongest Repubs voted for it ~ those who have no fear of you 'cause they'll win no matter what, and those who have too many illegal alien sympathizers among their constituents to risk seeming outwardly anti-illegal alien. As for the Dems, well this could serve as a wedge issue making them the only possible losers. Only they stand to lose from the hue and cry of folks like you. And, the Repubs only need one or two of the Dems to be replaced for the Repubs to regain a strong majority in the Senate.
Nothing like being a useful, idiotic, pawn for the likes of G. Bush, is it? I, for one, hate it. So, I stopped long ago.

UPDATE: Were it not for G. Bush, the bill would have never existed.:
"Democrats and Republicans alike said a House-Senate accord will be nearly impossible without the vigorous involvement of President Bush, who favors an approach similar to the Senate's."
"After mass demonstrations by immigrants in several cities and complaints by Roman Catholic officials -- plus Bush's recent televised speech calling for a comprehensive approach that would include pathways to legal status for undocumented aliens -- House GOP leaders signaled a willingness to modify their bill." Quoted from the listed source below.

I can hear Kool & the Gang right now; "Ceeelebrate good times come on!!!" Thanks to all who wrote, & called their Senators. Both my Senators RINO Voinovich, and Brown (D) voted against it today, after supporting it just the day before. Keep the pressure on these guys to close the border FIRST.

Doesn't surprise me that the Dems from my state (WI) voted for it. I actually EXPECTED it. I have never voted for either of them and I never will. I just wish that somehow they could come up with a feasible & quick plan to rid us of all these economy sucking ILLEGALS.

Brownback only changed his vote when he saw that it was destined to fail! What a POS.

Ilegal aliens do not deserve any special considerations... I applaud those above who didn't buckle to what appears to be the "in" thing to do.
