I have a thousand ball cards which I am going to sell in smaller piles on eBay. They are all reprint versions of hall of fame and stars of the past.

My question is, assuming you would be interested, would you like them seperated by City, or by Team?

For instance, would a Dodger fan be a Dodger fan no matter where they played, or would you be a Brooklyn Dodger fan?

Or how about Philly? Would you like all of the teams that have played for Philly, or would you only like the ones which are ancestors of the Phillies?

And the Braves are a mess, too. Would you be a Boston fan (lumped in with SOX) or would the Braves be your team, no matter where they played?

And what the heck do you do with the Senators? They have been a few different teams, but are not a team now.

Tell me how you would look for a big group of your favorites.

Any baseball fan input would be helpful

I would sell them by team, because a fan of any team would likely be interested in its history. As a Braves fan, I would love some Boston Braves stuff. I think that grouping them by city is ineffective because when teams leave a city, they likely are hostile to the team and don't like them anymore. I bet baseball fans in Montreal could care less about the Nationals now that they've left town. Group them by team.

Definitely do it by teams. Atlanta Braves are Boston Braves are Milwaukee Braves. Boston Red Sox may also be interested in the Boston Braves too though.

I'd do it by team, because most likely, you don't have many of the Brooklyn or other teams that are no longer in existence.

teams, and players and years

I recommend taking them to a sports-cards show first, and sell/trade them there.
The Senators and Brooklyn Dodgers are rare cards worth more than the average price on EBay.
Here is site that can give you more information on how to sell, package the cards, There is a man called Mr Mint.
, he is very knowledgeable about baseball cards,,, I have personally met him at a local sports-card show,.
Also check out any books on sports-card at the local library, they can also give you more information.

I would do them by teams. All baseball fans love the history of the game and their team.

Bloc the cards by team. This is a proven selling method on eBay.com. Don't expect a lot of munny, but some is better than none.

The teams in each franchise would be quite helpful, along with the dates the team in that franchise existed.
