see a stranger in the background? it makes you wonder how many people have pictures of you, how many moments of other people's lives we've been in. were we part of someone's life when their dream came true, or were we there when their dreams died? did we keep trying to get in, as if we were somehow destined to be there? or did the shot take us by surprise? just think, you could be a big part of someone else's life and not even know it.

Answer away, I love this paragraph.

That is awesome, i never thought of things that way and i won't be forgetting that.

Now I'm going to look at my pictures and see the people in the background and think will i meet them again or is it that i knew them from the past. :)

i think if someone is in the background doesn't mean they are part of the moment. if i tell you a joke and someone is behind us not listening, they don't know the joke therefore are not part of the moment. it matters about the picture you are talking about. am i in the background of a party or funeral? the world is a small place especially with technology, so i think it happened by chance. remember there is a reason you aren't in the picture. the reason? that's for you to decide.

I have avoided cameras and you should regulate who takes pictures of you. Your image is nothing to pass around. You are obviously young and very smart. Don't let anyone take advantage of you. Most of the photographs I have taken of other people I gave to them. When I go out with the video camera I never film other peoples possessions without their knowing it. It is rude and an invasion of privacy unless somebody is way in the background to use their image. Of course it is different in the big cities and unavoidable but it could piss somebody off.

I have pictures of so many people and they have pictures of me and I don't even remember them. They remember me and I feel terrible for not remembering them, but they say it is because of my personality!
