Though it will be very contraversial - he does belong in the Hall of Fame...
ANY Hall of Fame is meant to celebrate those who made a signifigant contribution to the sport - with things such as humanitarian efforts considered a "bonus". Despite the ups and downs in someone's career/life - they tend to focus on all the "Good" that was done while they were a part of the sport.
Admittedly, a tragic death in the ring (such as Owen Hart's) tends to help - but I don't think that Benoit will be banned for his actions...
Pete Rose was banned from the Baseball Hall of Fame because his actions DIRECTLY affected the sport itself - and ended his career at the same time...
I think he should be recognized - but not any time soon!

For all you haters - you need to back off until all the information is in.
There are too many errant incidents and facts that are not adding up to a murder-suicide.
The Associated Press is doing their damndest to hang Benoit - even blatantly twisting and changing timelines given by the investigators.
According to the investigators, Benoit was dead by late Saturday or just past midnight Sunday. Not late Sunday as the AP has tried to state.
Now - if what the investigators say is true - then Chris could not be the one that sent any of the text messages - and he was dead almost a day before the Wikipedia thing was posted.
And he couldn't have posted it from Stamford CT which is where the IP is leading to, coincidently - where the WWE is headquartered.
Now - even the WWE's release of text messages is contrary to what the investigators released. According to the investigators, only TWO messages were sent - one to two co-workers stating the wife and son were ill and they were going to the hospital, the other one to the neighbor's phone stating the dogs were in the pool area and side garage door is open.
The WWE states things quite differently and that there were five - however they came from Chris and Nancy's phones.
Here's a really bothersome deal - why did these co-workers - one being a WWE official - wait to show these to the WWE management and officials 27 hours?
Well - imagine if the bodies had been found on Sunday afternoon rather than Monday. The WWE would have been out millions for canceling the PPV.
Something is rotten here - hugely - and someone or someones perpetrated a triple murder and set Benoit up to devastate his career - family, and had tried to get someone in there earlier than what had happened, so that they could damage the WWE as well.
I believe Kevin Sullivan is involved - would not put it past him to hire someone to make it happen with some inside help at WWE. Sullivan never forgave Nancy and Chris.
Be interesting to see the results on the Sherri Martel death - one that can't be dismissed as natural by authorities. I am wondering if she wasn't a trial run in the deal - considering her tie to the Benoits and Sullivan.

Chris Benoit does NOT deserve to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Eddie Guerrero and Owen Hart are different stories. They died from heart failure and a freak accident in the ring. They did not kill their families or themselves. You have got to be a monster to kill your own family. Vince McMahon has said and I quote, "There was no way of telling that this man was a monster." If they induct Chris Benoit into the WWE Hall of Fame, they will be associating themselves with a murderer. Yes, Chris Benoit was an awesome wrestler and performer, but what about his moral character. He played a character on tv, but his personal life was something else and that's what really matters. His integrity and moral character. It just goes to show us that when we see these superstars on tv, we don't really know what goes on in their lives behind the scenes. They are great actors and entertainers, but they have problems just like the rest of us. Life is short and none of us knows when our time is. Nancy and Daniel didn't know that this would happen. None of us saw it coming and we wouldn't think it would be Benoit.

I'm very sure that he won't because for example, when Eddie died he was in the Hall of Fame one day later. One common factor that both their deaths share was an overdose of drugs. Since Bendoit's death not once has anybody mentioned a single thing about the Hall of Fame. Another thing is that Bendoit died as a husband and father, not as a wrestler, such as Eddie.

Yes I do. For his accomplishments as a professional wrestler in the WWE. These incidents should not tarnish what he did in the ring. Ric Flair was/is womanizer, a cheat, a wife beater, and an alcoholic who has been married five times but next year he's hall of fame bound. His personal life has nothing to do with his career.

Yes he should be inducted. I sat with my family on Monday in a TOTAL and COMPLETE state of shock. Chris Benoit and his family were no longer on this earth. WOW as the days went on and they started releasing the details surrounding the events that took place it was even a bigger shock. However, NO ONE should judge him. Unless you have walked in his shoes who is anyone else to say anything bad about him. I have been a longggggggggggggggggg time fan of his. In the ring their was NO ONE like him, he did things that totally rocked us. That is why he deserved the tribute that WWE gave on Monday, and I feel like WWE now that the details are coming out just want to distance themselves. He made that company ALOT of money and now at a time that he needs his friends and fans people want to judge him and badmouth him?!? How messed up is that after all this is from the same company that staged the CEO's death and the 3 hour special was to be his "memorial"? Again that is messed up. RIP Nancy, Daniel, and Chris I hope you get in the next life the rest you needed in this one.

Thats a tough one, I beleive that he should be put into the hall of fame, but every one needs to realize that he was awesome at wrestling, but he did not do a very good thing. You get put into the hall of fame for wrestling, not wrong doings.

Do you even know for a fact that Chris Benoit was guilty, or are you blindly trusting the media?
There are a lot of things about this that just don't fit.
Yes, three people are dead. The issue is not "why did Benoit do it" but rather "DID Benoit do it at all?".
