Excuse me? Disobey? I didn't sign on to be chattel, a slave, or an indentured servant. I married to be a partner. I may disagree with him on just about any aspect of our life together but that doesn't mean I'm going to blindly give in and say "Yes, Master". I defer to him because he has expertise in some areas that I don't and vice versa. If I disagree and later learn the facts supported his reasoning, I'll apologize--and probably remind him of all the times I was right!

A pet obeys or disobeys. Same thing may be said for some kids. Then it's all a matter of training and teaching values and right from wrong. It's not from some guy's pov that he "owns" me. In case you didn't notice, you really touched a nerve!

Disobey is a bad word to use.

The only time I have gone against my man's wishes (see better way to put it) was when he told me I couldnt do something. He does the same thing, if I tell him he cant to it, he does it. The reason we do it: No one can tell us what not to do no matter how insignificant.

I'd only disobey my husband were it against my will; meaning were it something that could not be avoided, such as a natural disaster, family emergency and I knew he would not make it time.

I am neither animal, child or subordinate and am not required to take orders. My boyfriend would never dream of ordering me around anyway, except perhaps, in the bedroom. My boyfriend treats me as an equal.

to assert I "disobey" is to assert that i've got agreed to obey. that's only no longer the case. My husband and that i artwork collectively as a set in direction of the objectives we attempt to realize. If I say to him that i could pick to pass to the flicks with the ladies from artwork, we make specific that he's attainable to babysit. same is going for him if he needs to pass fishing. it is not referred to as obedience, it rather is referred to as attention.

Well,

if he told me to make a pillow

or cut up his food and feed it to him

or make out with his ring (what is that???)

Then again, if I feel the urge to disobey him, then I guess it's time for my mom to take him back....

and I wouldn't date my Dad anyway....

My hubby does not tell me what to do... When he did once upon a time try, it didn't last long... I am not in a relationship to boss or be bossed around... I am in this relationship because I adore him, have two beautiful kids with him, and want to walk with him...
I strongly believe in God but you have things really warped into a total fantasy! By the way, "how is that working for you?"
:o)!

He'd have a lot of nerve to try and boss me around, and, if he did, I'd probably do the opposite out of indignation!
If he asked nicely, I'd do pretty much anything, within the limits of reason & ethics.

it's a marriage or a relationship, not a boot camp. The man is a mate not a dictator.
