there are more and more of them coaching women's swimming teams. Just wondering, but do they go into the dressing rooms, as the girls are getting into their swimsuits.???

No I highly doubt that any swim coach would do that. I have 3 male coaches, and one female coach, none of the male coaches would even attempt to go in the girls dressing room. Any swim coach that would even attempt that would surely be fired, and possibly sued. With my team we all have a meeting place out on the deck where we meet to talk about whatever...they would never come in the dressing room.

Why would any man risk his career like that?? In fact, why would anyone risk their job that way?! That's a pretty obvious question with a pretty obvious answer. Men who coach female teams, as well as women who coach male teams, are well aware of the boundaries of their coaching. Locker rooms are off limits to the opposite sex whether you are a coach, parent or teammate. It's that simple. To go into the opposite sex's locker room is taking an unnecessary risk. Unless it is known well in advance that the coach is coming in and that everyone in the locker room needs to be decent there is no need to even ask this question. Most male coaches will do as much pep talking and prepping on deck as they can to avoid any issues that can arise from being in the locker room, even with the same sex!

I am a male USA Swimming coach and I can tell you first hand that the last place I want to be is the anywhere near the girls locker room.

Stepping one foot in there is not only morally and ethically wrong, but it could lead to a lawsuit and get me fired.

No! Or they better not.... unless they wanna get their a** sued.
I had a male coach for four years, and even with that level of comfort he wouldn't touch the girl's locker room door with a ten foot pole, so don't worry. I'm sure most coaches are good guys rather than pervs..

I am a female. I have a male coach. He would never come into our lockeroom without us knowing it. He stands at the door and yells for us that we have 2 mins to get something on bc he is comming in. He only comes in to talk for pep talks and stuff.
