how do you put songs from an ipod onto the library?

You will need to have all the songs on your computer. Some people think they don't want to have all the songs on their computer but how else can you play them? If the are on the iPod only, you can only play them from the iPod.

Copy all the songs onto your computer's hard drive. Then open iTunes and choose File > Add to Library. Navigate to those songs, choose them and click to add. That's it.
