michelle thats interesting!! When I read he was Italian I thought "well its not the notorious paedophile then" so to hear he IS actually French is an eye-opener. I hope it IS The Frenchman, I hope the Police can trace Madeleine through him. It all adds up now...The Frenchman was wanted by the Police wasnt he? Didnt he skip bail or something, on a Paedophile charge? And didnt he molest his OWN Daughter? God, it sounds like him??

Thankjs BB...not hearing to much here in the US and was just getting ready to ask if there are any updates but read this...

"But Mrs McCann has privately expressed her frustration caused by people maliciously providing false information about her daughter.

She has expressed a desire to see them prosecuted for wasting police time."

OM goodness...how could she even dare say something like this. Wouldnt it be a fact that if she was indeed kidnapped that they have wasted police time as well because they left their apt door unlocked while leaving their kids alone basically inviting someone to come in? How hypocritical is that? If she was taken...it is their fault and they have wasted alot of peoples time and money yet they do not feel they should be prosecuted. Wow I didnt think either of them could say anything or do anything worse then they have but ....WOW thats all I can say.

What a despicable pair.

I wonder why they've ruled out so quickly that they're not associated with Madeleine. They're renting a house for £24,000 a month - I hate to think of their income.

If the glove fits, surely it's worth investigating?

i read today that he itailian bloke who was arrested is actually 'French' - and he has also been questioned about 'mistreating his daughter' and also has done time for 'mistreatment of children'

putting two and two together i think this bloke may be 'The Frenchman'

i haven't got the paper to hand as my partner took it to work

sorry to make it more clear - the bloke is french but has lived in Italy for some time.

bit silly to post a question like this after the facts that disprove what your saying i.e proved they werent involved with madeleines disappearance have been made public are you just not following the news or just to stupid to grasp the facts or just trying to stir up arguments either way you look silly now

Thanks for the update. Being a Canadian I have not heard anything on this in a while, but it was on CNN today.

I pray she is found safe and well. One has to be realistic though and think even if she is still alive she has been through he-- the last several weeks she has been missing.
