Hi. They all exhibit huge redshifts in their light. This CAN be caused by gravity in certain circumstances, but the most reasonable theory is that the light is shifted due to the expansion of the universe.

Their indicated red shift implies they're moving very fast, and hubble's law: the higher the red-shift, the faster an object is, and by that consequence - the farther it is away from us.
