If you do........ why did you start, and will you ever quit?

if you dont..........Good job! and do you have a feeling you might smoke later in life???

I dont smoke because i find it nasty and my bf made me promise that i wont even try it!

also iam not going to smoke because my uncle smokes i think about 3 packs a day(somehow hes still living) and my grandmother who smoked died i think a year ago from a lung tumor and smoked 5 packs a day =( ewwwww i hated going to her house

Never did. I don't smoke. You guessed it...NEVER will smoke!!!!!!! I believe that it's bad for your lungs. I've seen a picture of how a smokers lungs look, they were terrible looking! I'm also allergic to smoke too. Not that I have anyone living with me who smokes, it's just that if I pass someone on the sidewalk who smokes, I get a big headache, and feel as if I'm going to pass out.

I started smoking as a bartender, seeing others 'take a smoke break' and thinking it was a good Idea to get away from the bustle for a few. I am trying to quit, but my body's addicted, and makes me buy another pack, tricking me into thinking 'after this one'.

You may be different with the nicotine addiction, but you and your bf are right... It is nasty, and don't start... It's alot tougher to stop.

No I don't smoke, never have and never will. It only gives you bad breath, yellow teeth, lung diseases, and a terrible addiction that can be difficult to kick. My grandmother smoked for years and just last year she died of lung cancer. My grandfather, my uncle, and my father all smoke. The fact that my loved ones smoke gives me the impetus to stay away from cigarettes. I hope that no one else in my family starts smoking, because it is a life-destroying addiction.

yes. I started when, I was 10, priming tobacco in NORTH CAROLINA. I like the taste. I have one brand and, if those aren't available, I don.t.
as You said, if You don't, Great but don't get too down on those of us who, do. You may be surprised at how a lot of the extreme taxes that We pay, are used. don't think that it goes toward smokers health care. I live in TEXAS and, when they got the big tobacco settlement a few year's ago, they spent it all on interstate 35. what a bunch of hypocrites. they say they want You to stop smoking but, not yet, there's another public works project coming up.

I'm a quitter of 4 years now and I quit because me and my ex both smoke but we had a back and forth relationship. When i'd go to his house (he chained smoked, I did once every two-three hours) I'd be so grossed out and I thought I cant very well commit the crime that I find so offensive, so I quit and we broke up. That was the one good thing he did for me

I never have and never will. When I was young I thought it would be cool because my dad smoked but then I realized it bothered my eyes and the smell lingered on everything and I would not want to spend money on it. I am so glad I never started and my dad quit several years ago after he had a silent heart attack. He still likes the smell of them and thinks he would enjoy them but thankfully he has not given into the temptation.

Smoked for 15 years and the only reason I quit was that I watched my mother die from lung cancer caused by smoking.

No. I am only 14 and I never ever want to smoke. Its just gross. How can people deal with it? When I see someone smoke I feel like yelling at them.

No I don't smoke and I'm so glad you don't either. A lot of people I love have died from smoking. My mom, two brothers, two sister in laws, one at Heaven's door now and several other distant relatives. I hate SMOKING!!!!!!!!
