How do we feel about this Z-Bo trade? Any time you can get a 23-10 for a over the hill 2 guard in a 1's body and a potential player?
To me, you cant deny Randolphs ability and his versatility. Elton Brand without the defense, which is my only problem. A loaded frontcourt without much defense, sans David Lee. Unless Balkman or jeffries improves we still need a post defender. But we are defenitely a better team now.

WOWWW I think Portland got ripped. You can understand why they want to trade Zach since he cant play D and alll the legal trouble, but for Francis and Frye. Frye cant play D and hes a desenct starter and an excellent back up. Steve will get some free assists because of Oden, but I like portlands future

Zach was never a 23-10 guy. He's about 18-9 with suspect defense. I look at him as a Channing Frye plus rebound and post moves. Frye is not much of a defender himself.
Steve Francis will go 18-8 atleast for Portland, now that they got Oden too and Frye to pass to for dish and shoot. He will be a comeback of the year player.
What I dont like for the Knicks is Dan Dickau and Fred Jones. Why would Isiah Thomas trade for a black guy who cant play defense and a white guy who cant shoot ??

1st of all eddy curry and zach randolph on the same team 2 inside guys who never pass...never gonna happen
2nd of all the blazers are nice...new young team c-frye isnt a center, never has been...he's a 4 spot up shooter, he'll bring big guys outta the paint to let G. Oden work the post good job portland great trade...NYC you messed up again, have fun with a worse record than last year

good trade for the knicks.....zach will take away the double team down low away from curry.frye will never be as athletic as randolph.and getting rid of francis is addittion by subtraction
