I drive my own truck with XM going all day. Not all the shows are good. Air America is just boring. Sean and Rush are to much for me. I like Bill "O" and Spencer Hughes. John Gibson and Michael Savage (won't listen to him at all) can get vicious and Alan Colmes just stinks. He has 2 problems 1. lack of personality. 2. Nothing but right wing trailer trash calling him to dig their spurs in. Even the bad ones can be more entertaining than listening to CNN or Fox.

For TV I stick to the History Channel, Sci Fi, AMC and CNBC.

Free markets will dictate who stays on the air. Air America is the proof how to not run a network. Just cause I don't like Sean and Rush plenty others do. Politics is a sideline to the ratings that make the dollar talk and the knuckleheads walk.

Yeah, they certainly do want to put an end to it. They can't win an argument with Rushbo, they cant hold a candle to Hannidy, Glenn Beck drives home points they have no answers for and the wacko Michael Savage beats them to death with his ridiculous outlashes. Each has his own style but they all reveal the liberals for what they truly are.....phoney wanna be's who tried to fight back with Air America which failed so miserably. They are a waste, and they know it so they resort to Soros who thows his wealth at the politicians to end their reign. Go Rush! Go Hannidy! Go Beck! They can have Savage.

Actually there are lots of things more wonderful than talk radio. For example puppies, kittens, children, Christmas, reading a good book, candy and much more.

Talk radio whether liberal or conservative slanted is full of hate and that is not good. When you accuse Democrats of puting an end to it you best make sure you have ALL your facts straight, which of course you do not as usual.

LOL....you are falling right into the FOX Noise trap. The growing success of several progressive talk radio shows, Ed Schulz for one, has the Repubs scared S***less. Not only is the neo-con ideology dying an ugly death but soon their one bastion of exclusiveness (talk radio) will also be leaving them.

You are right, and I do listen occasionally when I get the chance. But I'm thinking a nap on a hammock on a sunny fall day with a gentle breeze and listening to the sounds of the leaves gently rustling is more wonderful.

They don't want to put an "end" to it, they just want bipartisan views in talk radio, unfortunately most of the radio stations in this country are owned by dozen giant corporations who don't care about giving people choice, but get shock jocks (from the left and right) so that they can get ratings. In other countries they don't have that problem because people know it is important to show both sides of every issue.

I agree, especially since the stuff they try to pass for music
today is not even worth tuning to. Talk Radio on the other
Hand keeps you informed. Corrupt Politicians find it extremely
unfair.

blah, you know what I love about hannity and rush? they regurgitate the same speel over and over again. Instead of culling the herd of republicans they take the easy path and bash dems all the time. ok, we get the point, dems suck, move on now. Both of those guys need to start head hunting for weak republicans and looking after their own kind instead of worrying about whats going on in the other party. Can't do much about the other party can you, but you can sure tell all the republicans listening who is a weak republican and have them start making calls. Dont hear anything like that from either of them guys. Just the same old same old. I turned em both off. Not bringing me anything new now for awhile.

I'm a liberal and I'm glad we have freedom of speech. If you want to listen to a bunch of know it all ex-dj's slapping their jaws about important things, that's ok with me. Like Hannity's coverage of Anna Nicole and Paris. They are in it for the money. Period.

Talk radio is the most boring thing man has invented.

I'd never listen to it at home and I'd rather listen to music while driving.
