born a taurus but i act like a scorpio?

i really don't act like a taurus and i identify more as a scorpio. every test that i take and everyone i talk says the same thing, that i should be a scorpio what do you think??

There is nothing strange in it. I am a Taurus and I've many Scorpio friends, I was really wondered why I am so attracted to them and I asked an astrologist.

According to my birth chart she said, having Venus in my 8th house gives me very strong Scorpio traits and having Mars in the 7th house I attract Scorpios as they are attracted from me. So maybe there is also an explanation about your other details of the birth chart that makes you Scorpio-like.

For instance, we the Taurus are easily forgiving, Scorpios do not forgive so easy but we both are ready to forget and to compromise when we love and care enough, when we receive sincere apology we both would forgive. When deeply hurt the Taurus would not plan a revenge, the Scorpio would do probably but both Scorpio or Taurus show very clear and make the people understand we are not someone to mess with. Taurus is patient, the Scorpio is not so patient but both once they make their mind for something nothing can change it. Scorpio and Taurus are both strong, both need loyalty, both are ready to fight for justice and both keep secret and support their friends. Both are difficult to trust but once they do, they would be also cautious if eventually something changes and would just try to sense the matter. Scorpio is of course much more brave and intuitive than the Taurus but the Taurus is much more peaceful and spontenious than the Scorpio. Both are honest and understandable. Taurus is conservative, Scorpio is open minded but when proved with well supported arguments Taurus starts to accept different options, while Scorpio realizes sometimes it is good to break the principles for the name of the experiment. Actually for me Scorpio and Taurus act sometimes alike because of the strong personalities they hold.

Just have a whole birth chart analysis and you would see that some of the aspects of your chart influence you and make you behave in Scorpio-like way.

Taurus and Scorpio aren't anywhere near each other on the zodiac chart, so anyone who tells you that you could have been born on the Taurus/Scorpio cusp has no idea what they are talking about. Your ascendant may be Scorpio. If you can, ask your parents or someone who may know your exact time of birth as well as place. Then go to http://www.astro.com and fill out a profile with this information. It will tell you everything about yourself. You may have Scorpio in a lot of your chart without even knowing it.

Taurus and Scorpio are exact opposites on the zodiac chart, so you could be channeling that, but it's more likely your rising sign is Scorpio.

This is probably because Scorpio is Taurus polar opposite in astrology and as we go through life and learn are lessons we can take on the quallities of our polar opposites. I too am a Taurus sun and I find that the more I learn from my birth chart and from life the more I find out that I act like a Scorpio (atleast my better quallities).

The reason all 3 of you don't act alike is because all of you have different birth charts. You listed you sun,venus, moon, and rising sign. These other 2 people have different signs in their planets as well so of course they will act different from you because all of you don't have the same exact natal birth chart. I always mention to people that we are more than just our sun sign, even when two or more people are born on the same day that does not mean they will act alike because the natal birth chart plays a HUGE role in our traits and personalities. I have 4 cousins in total that have the same birthday as me which is (December 18th), I'm a Sagittarius, and none of us act the same at all. The one thing we may have in common is our bluntness which is a very strong Sagittarius trait, but other than that the similarities are very different. Astrology is not fake just because people don't act the same that are born under the same sign or day. Astrology is a teaching tool and it does require a lot of studying and learning to grasp all of it. I'm still learning a lot myself. By the way I also wanted to mention that horoscopes and astrology are two different things. Horoscopes are just made up predictions that you find in newspapers and magazines or online that someone makes up for all 12 zodiac signs. Their meant as fun and entertainment but shouldn't be taken seriously.

Yeah, same thing with me, like in the US I'm supposed to be a Taurus, and I act like that, but in India I'm supposed to be a Scorpio. Sometimes, both horoscopes seem to fit me, so I really don't know. I like Taurus better though.

Scorpio and Taurus are opposite signs on the Zodiac wheel. While most of the time we identify with our sun sign, sometimes we live in its shadow (opposite). So, what you feel is not that out of the ordinary.

If you are born right on the cusp (edge between 2 star signs) sometimes it leads you to take characteristics of whatever moon was in when you were born, it may have been scorpio. Also if alot of your other planets and stuff were in scorpio, that would explain it too.

My guess is you were born in the late 80s/possibly early 90s...if thats the case, your PLUTO is in scorpio...which could be opposing your SUN(by degrees).;..

having "SUN opposite your PLUTO" could make you feel like a scorpio, and give you intense power struggles.....you probably would associate with the descriptions of the scorpion because of it....It makes the sun absorb the energy from pluto, esp since its in its natural home, PLUTO.

Another thing, like the others have said, you might have another personal planet such as your RISING SIGN(OUTER PERSONALITY) or MOON(EMOTIONS), in SCORPIO.
