My dad caught a foul ball once. It was a Padres game at Jack Murphy. It was a screamer and the guy infront of us got a piece of it and it went under his chair, and my dad picked it up.

Yes have caught 3 Home runs 1 @ Candlestick (old Giants home in San Francisco) when I was 12 years old. It was the coolest thing because I beat my Dad and brother to the ball and caught it right in the web of my glove Bragging rights for yhe rest of my life. Say maybe 3 or 4 foul balls 1 was routine pop up others were just luck where it bounced several times out of other hands. Best time to go get a ball is for batting practice a lot of home runs are hit and a lot of the players warm up and shag fly balls and most will throw baseballs your way. think the best place to be is down the lines 1st and 3rd also get to see the players up close and some of them will even talk to ya for a bit I have found that more of the vets and coaching staff talk a little more than the others

I had a ball that went foul thrown to me by the right fielder, once. I was at a Royals game, about 17 years ago, and the right fielder caught a foul, threw it into the crowd, and I was the one who caught it.

I got a foul on the carom once. It was after a long rain delay, most of the people had left, so there was only a handful of fans in my section. Made it easy.
The dear wife once nabbed a foul on the high-speed bounce with her off hand -- she was holding the then-baby in her right and was in full-bore Mommy Defense mode. Minor league game. Oh, I was so proud.

I know my nieghbor got many foul balls from the mets and reds games. If you sit in the out field/foul territory seats (right and left) close to the ledge, sometimes the outfielders will throw foul balls up to the fans.

No, I haven't, but I've been told you should have a glove because the balls spin can cause it to skid right out of your hands.
Wish I did though.
A relative did say they caught a foul by during pregame batting practice.

i went to an Indians game once and i was gonna bring my glove into the game but my dad told me not to because a ball wouldn't get hit to us. later on a brewers player hits a home run ball straight to us and bounces off of my dad hands and we don't get a ball. all though we did save the lady next to us from getting hit in the face.
