Dogs, though I've never had one, but I grew up with cats. Overall, not a pet person anymore.

I like dogs but I'm more a cat person.

I like both. I've had a dog and a cat--though not at the same time. It really depends on what you are looking for. A dog requires more attention and more work, but they are also more companionable. A cat can take care of themselves good enough to leave them at home for a few days with proper food, etc. But they are not always as welcoming or as loyal as a dog.

I have two cats, and they're cute but not loving. Dogs are awesome companions, so I'd say I'm a dog person.

A cat person, for sure. I love dogs, but they're just too high maintenance. My cat is affectionate when she wants to be, but the rest of the time she's totally independent and self-reliant, and she's always smiling when she's napping -- a lot like myself!
