I think with any profession you will have some that are good and some that are bad.Just like car mechanics some falsely charge you but that doesn't turn you off of all mechanics.I did have one psychic give false information but I still believe there are people out there that are good psychics.
I also like the answer of the person above me.

People who claim to be able to tell your future are frauds or at best, sadly deluded and taking lucky guesses. And the client is at least half the battle, often giving the psychic information and forgetting it, and remembering the statements which *might* be true and forgetting the huge number of statements that were wrong.
Psychic cold readers suggest partial things and let the victim lead them on. Incredibly I have watched this happen time and time again and the victim has no idea how much he helped the psychic, then giving full credit to the psychic for correct answers.
On a couple occasions I have seen where James Randi actually counts the number of statements made by a psychic on a given subject, while fishing information out of the client. A victim might admit that the psychic guessed at a name beginning with M and said "Mandy or Millie" but nothing more. When actually counted while listening to tape, it often turns out that the psychic took twenty or thirty guesses, breezing past each one if there was no response, until one was *remotely* like *anything* in the person's life. And then the victim is astonished at the psychic's ability.
Stephanie, you're being sarcastic, aren't you? Even the world's most unscrupulous frauds don't claim a perfect record.

Yes, though none of them called themselves psychic.
I had one describe what my next girlfriend would be like and why I'd be with her, and it was uncanny how right she was... about my previous girlfriend! Seems she was guessing my future from what she could see in me, in my past.
I have also had people tell me to listen to them and not the inner direction I've gotten from worship - that's an ego thing.
The consistent thing I've noticed is that when someone is deliberately being psychic, they can't perceive higher spiritual drives or influences: It's as though psychicness doesn't extend beyond the material world. I had a channeler who never even met me tell someone things about me that were simply impossible to know, things no one but I knew, and describe me to a T without a single error - but never mention the greatest passion of my life - my search for the spiritual truth. I found that very interesting.

I assume you mean by spirit...Yes that is without doubt possible. a psychic medium needs to ask the protection of their spirit guides to make sure no less than honest soul can get near them. I always make a prayer of protection to my master guide before I communicate with any soul......you also have to remember that info from spirit comes through energy which the psychic has to interpret...so we have to change it from an energy force to human language....if not careful, misinterpretation can very easily happen. This would mean the message was not false, the psychic misinterpreted it.....and that is an accident.

There are people who are really psychic, I mean everyone has their own intuition or "gut-feeling". There are certainly, though, people who fake "visions" and act as though Hollywood psychics are the only real kind. When my mom was younger, a psychic said she would have twin boys. Instead she had three girls, none of us a twin! ; )

schycics are only interested in the amount of money you give them and they are a con because I have had experience in the past. I rang about 10 different schycics to see if I will ever find a boyfriend a $900 dollar bill later and the things they told me didnot come true even to this day so I was ripped off and you are better to keep it out of your life cheers sonja

My staff who is continually trying to heal me, and has cut many of my cords is actually causing me to become physically sick and is denying all kinds of things about me that I know to be true. Calling me psychotic, and a liar this man says he is psychic and a pranic healer but I am getting sick to my stomach, and feeling overly ill.

every time. am cynical and skeptical of their answers. did a sociology paper on them and those who were asked the same questions answered in such a way the answers were in conflict with each other or could be interpreted by the reader however they wanted.
