Definately go to Poznan. There is a lot to do there and a much better city to visit in Poland. You can learn about the history and visit many historic places. It's fun to see what went on, and what happened. Also, there are a lot of attractions to see. There are so many places you can visit to have a really good time and enjoy the day. You should get a tour guide to find exactly the places and to visit the most popular ones. Overall, Poznan is a really good city to visit, and with the nightlife you won't get bored. You'll have a great time. Hope this helps and have fun.

My family is from Poznan, so I'm a little biased, but it's such a beautiful city. Wroclaw is amazing, too, but the outskirts of Poznan are amazing.

They're different cities, though. If you want to do the whole museum thing, then Wroclaw is better. If you don't, then I'd say Poznan.

I would support Wrocław. Poznań is an international (and national) fairs city, and the fair grounds live only, when there is an event there. Also, there is a railway line going right across the city, and the jams on the bridges going across the line are enormous.
Wrocław is the largest Polish city in terms of area, so the congestion there is not as dramatic as in other Polish cities. There is also plenty of greenery. And the historical parts of Wrocław are much more beautiful.

Wrocław.
As the fourth largest city in Poland by population, it has everything you expect in a city, but it's not crowded. There are many cathedrals and a fantastic monument to Poland's wars against the Russians.

Wrocław is very safe. We were able to hire a tour guide who happened to be a university professor (there are several universities in Wrocław) and who showed us around the city.

The train station is in a good neighborhood, not something you can say about every city.
