In the Beatles music video,"Real Love" it shows over and over again John Lennon's white piano floating up in the sky towards heaven, but how can this be when we all know that John Lennon rejected christianity,he rejected Jesus Christ,so should'nt that piano be flying downward in a flaming piano-type swirl,on its way DOWN rather than UP? Im sorry,I dont mean to offend any Lennon fans, and I used to be a BIG Lennon fan myself, but I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior, and when I look back at some of Lennon's lyrics,(i.e. "God" and "I found out") I believe now Lennon has found out he was lied to and then it was too late for him,and Im sorry for that, but it was his choice. So what was meant by that flying piano?

Lennon liked to play around with Christianity and he liked to play around with people who tried to figure him out even more. If I had to guess I'd say that it's in there just to screw your head. Although just because he's floating upward doesn't mean anything spiritual or going to heaven or anything. He could just be expressing a will to be free and float high above the world without any worries or problems. As far as the whole repenting thing goes I'm pretty sure the song "God" clears up any misconceptions about his beliefs.

On a side note, when still with the Beatles he found out that his old grammar school was analysing Beatles songs so he went and wrote "I Am the Walrus" just to screw with them. So he's more than likely just screwing with peoples heads.

John often wrote, and wondered, if God was above us (i.e. the words in "Imagine") so the piano floating up would be no more than the symbolism of muscial notes wafting on the wind. Sound rises, you know. It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with his beliefs or his soul's redemption. And who are you to suppose that he went to hell for his beliefs? If you accepted Jesus the Christ, then embrace His teachings and don't presume to damn anyone else.
