That was rude of them. Were they brought up in a barn? That sort of thing iis udderly unacceptable. I cud'nt put up with it myself..
If you have a beef with them, just get it out in the open and make yourself herd. Your reputation is at steak here. If you get laughed out of your own farmyard, you're going to have to mooove far away. Is it really worth chucking it all and starting over?

Yeah I know the feeling- I like to moo at the cows until the moms shoo the babies away from the fence... I have a feeling they're laughing at me, though.
