Yeah, "terrorism". What exactly is a terrorist? I just read about a bunch of people that were disguised as a minority group, and were destroying alot of government property, including food and beverages that were to feed our citizens....and this happened on American Soil!
I just explained what happened at the "Boston Tea Party".
What WE view as terrorists are probably the Islamic terror cells. Many are already here in the US. They view themselves as holy martyrs, doing Allah's will.

While it may be true that currently most of the terrorists operating in the world come from the Middle East, primarily because of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, most of the terrorist organizations do not. According to the US State Department's list of foreign terrorist organizations, only 17 out of 42 are based in the Middle East, and one of those is a radical Jewish group, not Muslim.
Also, contrary to what xyz asserts, Islamic terrorism is a relatively recent phenomenon, going back in a significant way only about sixty years. If you were to examine Western concerns about terrorism in the early 20th Century (although "terrorism" was not the term commonly used at the time) you would find most of the interest focused on people from Southern and Eastern Europe.
For those of you, at least in the US, concerned about terrorists, you would do well to read the article linked to below to get a little perspective. It points out, among other things, that "the handful of jihadist terrorist plots uncovered in the United States since Sept. 11, 2001, is dwarfed by the hundreds of hate crimes directed against Muslim Americans over the same period," and that the greatest terrorist threats in America are from right-wing extremists and radical animal rights and environmentalist groups.

That will be really hard to pin down. Although there are terror big organizations originating from Middle East they recruit people on all continents. So your neighbor might be recruited into those organizations.
Radical Islamic extremists also flourish in Indonesian Islands (Africa and else where) as well. I will be pretty skeptical of just assuming Middle East as home of all terrorism.

If you really want the truth, the real terrorists are the American, British, and Israeli governments and their secret services.
