I'm looking for a place to get away that is only four to five hours from Atlanta. I'ts only going to be a three to four day weekend trip, but I just need to get away. No kids involved, just two early twenty year old friends getting away. Thanks for your help!

I like Chattanooga and Rock City, Ruby Falls. There is a nice KOA campground nearby if you like that.
Helen, GA is a cute little tourist trap at the top of the Hooch.

Even Savannah is within 4 hours. Depends on what floats your boat. Lots of great outdoor stuff all around.

My wife and I enjoyed the Chickamauga battlefield area, and much of the War of Northern Aggression took place in this area. Worth exploring if you like history.
