there have been times in my past where i've seen someone of the opposite sex and instantly had feelings for them. even if they were 15 or so feet away, all it took was one look. it wasn't necessarily love, but definitely strong feelings. it has only happened a few times, what explains this?

It's pheromones, my dear. A chemical put out by the opposite sex that we smell without consciously knowing. It's a big part of physical attraction and sex appeal.

I fall in love several times every day just by looking at women standing 15 or so feet away from me. This is a common occurance I think.

There may be a particular look that you are attracted to and you see this in them. Could be an outgoing personality, could be something else. You must be a very nice person. Enjoy it! Live it! Experience it! Some people are so picky, that it is rare when they find themselves attracted to the opposite sex and they live a very lonely life. Live life to its fullest!!! Good Luck!

For example when u go to a resturant you look on the menu and something you see looks really good! So you order it! I have seen people like someone by the way they look kinda like an attraction! if u know!

i think it ezplains that u may be desperate for love there is a possabity of love at first sight but not that many times worry about u then do a relationship it is ok to date but get ur life where u want it befor u think about love trust me i been there and it never works out dont look for love it will find u when u liook for it u dont ger what u want

When you see someone your attracted to, you really see them as a potential mate. to be the one to share your genes with etc.
If you see someone youd really like to share you genes with i spose thats prof humans are animals aswell. looking for the fitest (as in healthiest) so our offspring are able to look out for themselfs
Love is an emotion and take time to develop.
this is also a question i often think about. i have only experienced this situation once. was in a shopping center and see her across the shop. was deffinately a connection as we maintained eye contact untill we couldnt any more. woulda got her number if she wasnt with her bf.
Now i think of that it wasnt lust i felt towards her.
but i do not belive it was love. maybe another emotion?
