they will find a way of sticking part of it in another bill. Thats what they did with the war funding bill, they hid approval of Mexican trucks to travel through the United States. Look for SPP this is what immigration was all about. They want the borders open. In August Bush will meet in Canada with ex Canadian president and ex Mexican president.

Mexicans ***** that Arizona's immigration regulation is in basic terms too puzzling on illegals. yet Mexico's immigration regulation is a techniques worse. unlawful immigration into Mexico is a criminal punishable via over a 12 months in penitentiary. In Mexico, unlawful immigrants have no rights. Nor do individuals that help them. that's time for united statesa. to duplicate Mexico's immigration regulation.

This issue got dragged out way longer than it needed to be and no one can even name one senator who finally joined in helping stopping it today.
I see no reason why Iraq shouldn't be an issue dragged out just as badly now.
If I were a Senator I would be looking for big campaign donators tomorrow. Not Americans who appreciate I listen to them in the end. If I want to be elected, I'll trust the money, not the recognition.
cha-ching cha-ching $$ keep that war drum beating for me too.
(cackle cackle) ;)

One issue has nothing to do with the other. Plenty who were against amnesty for illegals are also against pulling the troops. The war is a mess but pulling the troops could get ugly. Even hillary & John Kerry have admitted it's a foolish idea.

Uhm? The issue is dead?
Just because the bill failed doesn't mean a thing!
The border is still wide open. Millions of people who want to become citizens won't be able to.
You are celebrating inaction in a time of a national crisis. (Not that I personally see it as a crisis. I believe the whole thing has been blown way out of proportion)

"Is it really dead? The Republicans get their way in that the illegal immigrants stay in the US and nobody sends them home? "
What the heck are you talking about?!?!?! It's the Democracts the ones that keep pushing for this ridiculously flawed bill. Get your facts straight. Do your research people!

According to the news today Democrats are more worried about racial issues than getting the troops home.
