No longer an Angel. Why can't he hold a job? Is he a hothead? Will the Yankees take him?

He's terrible, he was barley hitting over .250 and his OBP wasn't even close to .300. Hillenbrand is probably one of the most overrated guys in the MLB, he should be in the minors yet he's making 6 million bucks. He can hold his job, he will be on his 6th team in the middle of his 7th year. The longest he's been on a team is 2 1/2 years with Boston, and has gone in the middle of the season 2 other times. He's only hit over .300 1 time in his career, and he couldnt even get 20 HR, 100 RBI, or 70 Runs! The only other time he went over .300 was last year with Toronto, but he was traded to SF and hit .248 with them bringing his season average down to .277. So no, he can't stay on a team, he can't even keep his job for a whole year! This guys is going to go back and forth from League to League, Team to Team, until he finally retires, or is sent to the minors for good.

I don't see why the Yankees would take him, the last thing they need his hitting. What they need is pitching, and they aren't going to trade with the Angels for more hitters, if they were going to make any deals with LA, they would be giving away power for heat, NY is the last team that would take him.

Shea Hillenbrand is a problem child. I can't believe I spend about $140 for his jersey when he was a Red Sox player. He dissed Boston after they traded him (saying it's hard to find a parking spot - so what's new?), dissed the Jays Organization when they did not congratulate on his new born baby, now he wants out of Anaheim/LA.

Stay away from crying babies.
