Well you know those little things you put on the bottom of a chair to keep it from scratching your floors? Put those on the bottom of your heels and you can cut them to size. You can get them at wal mart and they are cheap. Like 2$.

Hello
Heels naturally click, the beater the make the louder the sound will be. Stronger heels make a louder sound, weak ones will make a shallow sound because of the cheap soft steel tip, which wears out within a few months.
Keep clicking away, it sounds sexy and other people will know you have more expensive shoes.
;o)

The best thing to do is get rubber tips put on them. Usually if you purchase heels that are non-skid they tend not to click on hard floors as well.

Yes Sweetie, go to your local Walmart or shoestore and they sell these little rubber anti-skid things that you can put under the ball of your shoe foot and the little tips that go on high heels. They are pretty cheap too. Don't go clippity cloppety on me now...lol!

Any cobbler (shoe maker) can add a nonstick sole to the bottom that will prevent the clicking/clacking. I get it done to all of mine to prevent noise and keep me from falling on my butt :) It costs less than 5 dollars, generally. Nearly any large city will have at least one cobbler.

i cant gauantee anything..but i personally think its all in the walk. you have to (i wish i could show you) put your foot down in a way that it wont click loudly... as for hardwood floors..my whole house is hardwood (UGH!!) you cant exactly help that i dont think... wood and shoes..not a good mix...but with the foot technique thing it quiets it down by a mile...
I WISH I COULD SHOW YOU!!! :/

ok, I've never tried it before, but the pads you put on the bottem of furniture so they won't scratch the floor might work.
You have to buy them.
