Most of us know that the movie industry has inundated these sites with paid drones who drivel about why you shouldn't download movies. But it is entertaining watching you get all worked up when someone asks a question similar to the Boston Tea Party and the taxation of tea. Just read about it in school this year. You will never discourage what should be free anyway : - ) How many mega k's can you write about this, boys?

Why should it be free?

When you start paying taxes to produce these multi million dollar films, then you can have them for free all you like.

If you aren't helping foot the bill to produce the films, then you should pay for your entertainment.

Honestly, when did stealing become okay? Would you go into Blockbuster and grab a movie and walk out with it?

Moral ambiguity is not trendy. It's ethically wrong to steal and anonymity behind computer screens shouldn't make it okay.

I not some paid drone. I am an independent filmmaker who makes an honest living. I am not someone who makes millions every year. But it is disheartening to work hard to make a project, invest your money into marketing and then somebody comes along and steals your product. Do you steal the clothes you wear or the food you eat? It is no different. And what is free in this world? The world doesn't owe you anything.

Jenny B: Nicely said. I can't add anything to improve it so I'll just say thanks for saving me the typing. I second everything you say including the money part at the end.

In fact I wish I was a paid drone.

The reason they do it purely personal.

Maybe they just don't want you getting arrested.

Maybe they think the answers they are not giving are in fact responsive to your questions.

Maybe as you think they are looking after their own self interest.

It makes no difference if you choose any answer but theirs.
