of course not!
the neocons and bushettes and dickieboycheneys love the idea that so many in the United States are uneducated regarding past wars...truth is there are so many uneducated fools in the United States that all they know regarding past wars is that there was a Civil War, A Revolutionary War, the Vietnam War and the Korean War.
and even in knowing about those wars, they have absolutely no idea why they were fought in the first place.
Pathetic.

factor in the number of troops serving and the chances of an individual troop being a casualty is basically the same as vietnam. sorry cons
"clinton made more soldiers die" --- ridiculous, but a lot of soldiers do die in peace time auto accidents.

I assume you're talking about conservative comparisons to 100,000 dead in Vietnam; a war that is roundly denounced as a mistake. Want to stop North Vietnam? Level it.
Want to kill all terrorists and insurgents hiding in the Sunni districts? Kill every young Sunni male. Don't have the stomach for it? Then don't go to war. The enemy doesn't have"Kill me. I'm a terrorist" tattooed to their foreheads.
Saddam is dead. Democracy is established. Time to go.

Justifying death is better left to god. he'll balance out the math its just a complex Question. BUT in my opinion losing less is good and causing more damage the enemy is good. unless 1 of those losses is in some future time a guy that makes a cure for some incurable disease, or some cool technology.

When lessor men (yourself) pontificate over the death of better men (the fallen soldier) some of us that have walked thru the fire and returned get mad. We really do not need some yellow belly, neo-hippie punk trying to tell us about war. The reason those folks are dead is because the government tried to go in on the P.C. nice routine, why, cause liberal surrender monkeys (you) whine and cry and protest anytime the USA defends itself.

A soldier by definition puts his life on the line.
Body count has nothing to do with justification for war.
Or as General Patton said, "Don't be a fool and die for your country. Let the other sonofabitch die for his."
And our soldiers are part of a volunteer army, right?

You are right that it is not right to compare one amount of deaths in a war with another to prove that the few thousand soldiers was just, but answer this: do you not think it is wrong for true American soldiers to fight and die for their country in the pursue to give YOU the right to obtain freedom in the greatest country of the world? People against the purpose of fighting for a right cause make me sick aka: Democrats.
