No, and then I got laid off.
And of course, we pay more for everything else now.
There's really no such thing as a tax cut. Not for the average person, anyway. They get the money from you one way or another.

Each year the tax cut is 50 cents per 100 dollars earned. In the last 6 years tax rates for most workers are down 3%. Not enough money to make a difference.
I saw my pay go up from the Reagan tax cut. I actually asked my boss if I received a raise.
Bush is no Reagan. Just a pathetic wannabe.

Since Bush was elected my light bill has doubled, my gas bill(auto) has almost doubled, my grocery bill has gone up 50% for the same cartload of stuff, my local taxes are going up again to pay for the things the Bush administration has stopped funding or demanded the local government do without funding, my insurance premiums are up and the services are less. The only thing that hasn't increased is my pay.
Oh yea, the twelve dollar a week tax cut was a BIG help.

The cuts did happen and most people saw less taxes taken out of their checks. But it depends on how much you make, what your tax bracket it, and how much you were getting taken out of your check! Also, alot of the tax cuts were to programs or for credits when you do your taxes. So you will not see them on each check, but at the end of the year or when you do your taxes. So even if you didn't see a difference in your check, it should be seen at tax time.

No change in my check. But I saw a change in the tax laws. Deductions were less. He gave with one hand and took away with the other.
Without making any changes in my W4, and no change to my wages, I had to pay a LOT in taxes this last fiscal year. No refund at all.

there is no way if you paid taxes that you didnt see more of your money.
Here is a chart where you can put in taxable income each year and see how much you would have owed and you can also see the tax bracket difference for each category year to year. ALL people who pay taxes benefited at least some when there were tax cuts.

Like me you must make less than $300,000 per year. Those are the only ones who felt a tax cut. I have to laugh at all those posts that claim they got a tax cut, knowing they are lying or dreaming.

Me, too!
The cut applied to tax on paychecks, not welfare checks.

this is the dividing line between many Republicans and Dems...
most who see any real difference make over 80 K a year... (only about 20 percent of the U.S. makes over 80K, according to the census)
Bush approval ratings= around 30 percent... coincidence?
in other words... Bush bought their vote, and they couldn't be happier...
that's really about the only issue for many Republicans that they really care that much about...
most Americans don't see it... and they've noticed...
look at all the rich Reps...
