I thnk Bill was an ok president, definetly better than Bush. But no I would not vote for Hillary this term because Rudy Guiliani
is running. We need a president that is not going to fold under the terror in the middle east. Iran is just waiting for us to pull out so they can take over Iraq. And if we pull out that is going to be the downfall of the american people. Democrats already have voiced their opinions that they would pull out.
We need a good republican, someone like Ronald Reagan.
Now Guiliani went through 9-11 and he was superb. We need his dedication to things. And besides that he is honest. He didn't try to hide the things in his life that most presidents would, like divorce adultery, a womans right to choose. He does not try to disguise his private life, and for that he deserves a big hand. He says I'm human I will and have made mistakes in my life. This is who I am take me or leave me. and any president who can do that gets my vote

Politically they are really nothing alike. As much as Hillary has tried to drag herself back to the political center all she has really succeeded in doing is angering and alienating the far left base. She tends to leave the impression that she would be willing to say or do ANYTHING to win the presidency and that tends to turn people off.
Bill on the other hand is Mr. Charisma. Everyone who has ever met him personally says he makes you feel as if he really cared about you personally and was just simply extremely likeable. He also ran from the begining as a moderate democrat and had the record as Arkasnsas Governor to prove it.
Bottom line is that Bill Clinton, whatever you think of him personally or politically, was an excellent candidate. If not for HIS political machine, Hillary would have been extremely lucky just to win her senate seat. Hillary Clinton is percieved rightly or wrongly as cold, aloof, and politically opportunistic. She very likely could win the democratic nomination, but really has no chance in the national. Frankly, people just don't like her.

I voted for Dole in 1996 and in 1992, I voted for Perot (which was really a vote for Clinton-just the way that worked out).
The problem with Dole-Kemp is both men were still running for President even though Kemp was on the ticket for VP. I am convinced that the VP needs to be a rabid attack dog during the election year and support his President 100%. Kemp treated his role as VP as though he were running for President. Instead of embracing conflict and running a brutal race, he looked like an old man against Gore. As much as I liked Jack Kemp, I think he sank the Republicans in 1996 by not being aggressive and bulldog enough. Kemp needed to be the one to aggressively challenge Clinton-Gore, and Kemp did not do that.
Just my spiel. I would not vote for Hillary at all.
Besides, I think Bill would be an awful First Lady, and Hillary would be a terrible President.

If the election somehow came down to Bill vs. Hillary. I'd take Bill. At least he was smart enough to manage the government. Had he managed himself and the growing terrorist threat in the same way, there would have been no 1994 GOP takeover of congress. and would have been considered one of the top presidents of the 20th century. Hillary is a socialist and poor manager.

The first election I was eligible to vote in was '96. I voted for Clinton. And although I haven't yet decided who to vote for, I'd have no qualms about voting for Hillary. The right hates her because they feel threatened by her. She's strong, opinionated, and she refused to sit idly by while Republicans attempted to destroy her husband. All qualities that they can't stand. The right prefers their "liberals" Alan Colmes-style.
