I have internet modem which accepts CAT5 cable only and I have router which accepts DSL cable only as an input how do I connect my modem to the router?

If the router accepts a DSL cable (I.E. a phone cable) then it's got a DSL modem in it and it's all you need.

If it's just an ethernet (RJ45) port labelled DSL, to indicate that you should hook it up to your DSL modem, then do that.

Better still, give us the product name/number of your boxes and we can tell you exactly what to do.

If your modem is Cat 5 out and you need to use a router, you need a standard DSL/Cable router. If your router has a built in DSL modem it will not "route" for a standard ethernet system.

(I assume your modem is not a DSL modem.. if it is just dont use it and take the phone/dsl line directly to your router)

I'm not an expert, but think that you have your phone line connected into ruter, when this done there's no need for a modem will have to plug another cable from a ruter to a computer ethernet card.
