Every stepping stone you pass will seem frightening. As you grow in experience you will fast appreciate the advantages you will have as an adult as opposed to being a minor in spite of all the new responsibilities. Think Positive and move forward.

Hey the sublime core guy was very rough with his answer, but he was correct in a way..If you get a job, then it sets a routine and everything Else will fall in place..Maintaining that job will give you a purpose..probably the most important responsibility as an adult other than marriage and children..Tackle the job first and the rest will follow and you will feel a sense of purpose and accomplishment and that will ease your emotion! Just remember you are in charge of your life now! don't let it overwhelm you, because you now have all the freedoms you wished for through your teenage years..take time out to enjoy them!

I'm 14 and I feel afraid of becoming an adult....really. Just thinking I'm going to have responsabilities and a family scares me!

Being an adult sucks...no more freedom to live life with no worries, we have to work not to buy that new pair of limited edition sneakers but to pay the mortgage.
We have to go to sleep early not because the next morning we are getting up early to take a road trip with friends but because we are shot from working all day.
We have to go to the food store not to buy that late night six pack and peanut butter & fluff because we got the munchies but because our kids need actual food.
And worse for us women.. .we have to watch our boobies that were once nice & perky & watched by guys now look at the floor because of gravity!
Yeah i hate being an adult too it means we're getting old

YEP! I TOTALLY feel the same way. next year I'm gonna be a senior makin' decisions for college and stuff and then I'm gonna be an adult soon!! UGH!! Life was SOO much easier when I was a kid. *sigh* ( I miss those years. dont you??)

growing up does suck i mean one second you haven't a care in the world then the next thing you know you have your boss breathing down your neck and your landlord hitting you up for rent its...scary

Because you have to tidy up and take out insurance for various things.
go travelling before you get too mid twenties
