I want to purchase the Sony Ericsson W660i but the cellular phone is only triband. It only supports GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900, and UMTS 2100. My current carrier is T-Mobile. I was just wondering if I would be able to use an unlocked W660i with T-Mobile in the USA.

it should connect to the network, however you might wanna check your carrers coverage becouse if it does and it shows your roaming then it could cost you big time. if it doesnt you could just get a disposable phone, thats what my korean friend did when he came to the US

Yeah - just plug in your SIM chip and you're good to go!

T-Mobile uses a GSM network. My old triband always connected at 1900 but also has 900/1800 available
