I am 22, going on twenty three. I try to keep pieces of my childhood alive by keeping momentos around, as well as finding things to buy that I used to have. One thing, now, is a video I had when I was 12. It was a video of skits and such by my 2nd favorite band. Would it be fair to say that this is a piece of my childhood?

Yeah, it is! I think it ends at 13 though then the teenage years begin! Just keep holding on to mementos and memories! Thats cool! I do it to!

who says childhood ever really has to end? I mean, to an extent, you need to "grow up" enough to take responsibilities and such, but that doesn't mean you have to be serious / mature ALL the time. Besides, you're still young, so as long as you can be a responsible adult when you need to be, feel free to let your inner child come out and play once in a while. There's no harm in that. I think it's healthy.

It ends?

Yes, your video is a piece of your childhood.

And, in 20 years, when you look at 22 year olds or think of what you were like when you were 22, you will think "child."

Yeah.. I'd say that's a piece of your childhood. But to me, childhood ends when you get married, have a baby, or start living on your own... not necessarily in that order! Whichever comes first.
What do you think?

I'd say yes, it's part of what keeps the child inside you alive, but also makes you, the adult, who you are today.
