I am new to yahoo answers and need some guidence from the old hands, Is this supposed to be fun or are some people taking themselves and life a bit to seriously.

Welcome, this is supposed to be a fun site but you do find some people take things a little bit too seriously, guess its their prerogative but it would be better if we could all have fun.

Just try and not to take some of things you see too personable. If you do all it will cause you is a headache. Just have fun and only answer the questions that interest you.

It is a mixture of both serious discussion and much added humor to break up the tention...I say this seriously but I am laughing my head off as I type this....

some people ask questions because they are looking for answers. some other people answer the questions to get points (god knows what to do with them) and some other peolpe take the total piss out of this site -people like me.
one thing is certain: they censor you

I think most of them seriously. Myself sometimes humor and sometimes serious. I try not to hurt any ones feelings.

yep some people take it to seriously, ask a religous question and see how many of the god squad or the scientology freaks bore the **** of you

i think its fun but depending on the question you will get some wierd answers were people take it way too serius

If you avoid all of the mad religious fanatics and the holier than thou PC types,you can have lots of fun.
