A friend of mine gave me four lacey tank tops/camisoles (black, brown, green and gold-brown). I don't really wear them that often because I don't know what to wear them with :( Sometimes I just wear one underneath a sweater/shirt.

1. Does it look like a chemise/lingerie?
2. What should I wear them with?
3. Is it okay to wear one without layering?

it does kind of look like it could be lingerie, but it definately isn't. it just kinda resembles it.
you should wear it with dark wash jeans for semi-formal or semi-casual, mostly nightlife.
this shirt would prob look better not layered cuz of the neckline.

i would probably wear it underneath some sort of button up shirt, either short sleeve or long sleeve. or you could wear it by itself. I also use mine as layering pieces under lightweight cotton v-neck sweaters in the spring when it isn't hot but need something because it is chilly.
Ann Taylor Loft always shows their lacy cami things with cropped sweater shrugs, or sweaters, etc.

No it doesn't look like lingerie.
You should wear them with jeans. Actually you can wear them with everything. Mix and Match
Yes its ok but try some layering ok.

it is very in style to wear them without layers because it shows more of your body and as we all know men love that but it doesn't show so much that u look slutty

i think it's okay to wear one without layering as long as you don't make it seem too revealing or anything like that... you can wear a t-shirt under it maybe?
