Need idea for a "thank you" gift for t-ball coach?

looking to make something very unique b/c i am short on cash, but want to make something nice and rememorable. i have 2 days to make it!

buy a softball (since it's the biggest) and write something like "i had a ball this season-thanks, coach!" on it in sharpie, then present it in a box filled with that easter basket cellophane grass stuff, which you can get at any party store. or go on word processor and use some cool font to make a 'super coach' award and sign it at the bottom to make it look official. heck, you could even find an old or cheap frame at a thrift store or somewhere in your house and frame the certificate!

I've been a coach for a few sports. Trust me the cards are the most important gifts. They are the one thing that lasts forever. Heart felt words go straight to the heart.

So that said how about taking your words and putting them on your computer and designing a back drop and trim. Print it out and instead of putting it in an envelope put it in a frame for them to see and read over and over.

A girl did that for me once and I still have it all these years later.

My baseball team last year gave me a baseball they all autographed and a card. I thought it was great. Not too expensive, but a nice thank you for a job well done.
