Vaseline is petroleum based and should never be used internally. If using lubrication is a must, use a water soluble lubrication like KY. (but tampon insertion should not really require lubrication at all)

NOPE DONT USE VASELINE!!!!!

use K-Y lubricant if you really need to.

vaseline is bad for the vagina because it is extremely difficult for the vagina to get rid of.

dont listen to anyone on here that says its ok to use vaseline! i asked my gynecologist and she said it is very bad to use for tampon insertion. please dont use it, or you may be at risk for an infection.

No. If you open yourself up, it should already be easy to insert.

No, you should NOT do that.
I've heard repeatedly that oil-based lubricants are not good for the vagina.

i wouldnt. just make sure you relax when you put it in. and sit
on the toilet. you shouldnt have a problem putting a tampon
in.
