My mother is a wonderful and loving mom. She is also a wonderful grandmother. She is a beautiful and intelligent woman, even though she doesn't think so. She needs to have more confidence in herself. She is always there when I need someone to talk to or just to listen to me. She is truly my best friend.

When I was 20 I saw my Mam as a nag.
When I was 40 I saw her as a woman who had worked hard.
As an older person I have a lot of sympathy now she is gone.
In our family (6Kids)we all saw our mom a in a different light.
I am so sorry that I was not any closer to her,
She was just a person who did her best,The best she could.

She is my best friend. Loyal, supportive, kind. Although, the first thing that came to my mind was over protective. I am 30 with a husband and 3 kids of my own and she still worries about me. When my husband is out of town she calls to make sure I lock all the doors and I have to ring her once when I get home (if out late). I could let it get to me, but at least I know she loves me.

Wow, it is great to read all the nice things people are saying about their moms. I wish I could honestly say nice things about mine! My mother is controlling, manipulative and a liar. She pretends to be a friend to me but then talks about me behind my back or tries to isolate me from other family members. She has always been this way. She lies about everything.

My mom is a wonderful lady. She is very loving and caring and anyone who meets her tells me how sweet this is. One thing she does though is that she worries too much about me and my family, sometimes to the point of making herself sick. I wish she would not do that.
