Truth be known, I've had dozens.
I have had dogs of all different breeds and sizes, rabbits, chickens, ducks, lambs, cats, budgies, a cockatoo who talked, cockatiels, diamond doves, quail, mice, guinea pigs, goldfish, sea monkeys, a bearded dragon and various other lizards. All were like a part of the family. As you can probably tell, my childhood was filled with them.
Currently we have 2 dogs an a puppy, a black cat, 2 cockatiels (sitting on a clutch of eggs), 8 goldfish, and a rabbit.
Never had a snake or rats, just never appealed to me (and Mum had to draw the line somewhere, I suppose).

2 Rabbits - 1 potty trained in door and 1 who ran around outside with my dog. He was named Rootbeer and oh so cool.

16 dogs, a couple of fishers, turtle, 1 pet squirrel, 20 hamsters, 8 rabbits, a few guiney pigs.
