Afraid only of the ones that are common in and around the house and garden areas. I actually have had several tarantulas as pets. Which I would hold and pet. I don't why the contradiction. But that is the truth.

Not at all. When I was a kid, the openning for the attic was in my bedroom closet and I used to get spiders in my year round. I came to like them

I'm SO afraid of spiders, that if I see one, I'm petrified it will get on me if I try to kill it. I get the creeps for awhile after seeing one. And Oh my goodness, don't let me walk into a web

Yes...the small ennsey wincey tenney weeney yellow poka dot bikini, itty bitty ones; they're harder to see and step on.
