that depends on any number of things. the greatest people to ever live, jesus, buddha, ghandi, etc. were probably the most introspective as well.
i suppose the best answer would be: as long as your introspection is not correlative to a self centered attitude and does not keep you from being productive, in terms of fulfilling your purpose in life, then looking inward is one of the most positive activities you will practice.

If you live in our American culture - YES. We are action/production oriented. I am introspective and have been told most of my life "YOU ARE TOO SENSITIVE!" , "lighten up", etc., etc.
