Oden will go before Durant, just because a defensive center is the cornerstone of a great teams and Oden is that and more. Durant will be a great player, but he needs to get stronger, because the forwards in the league will push him around on the court and frustrate him early and often, taking him out of his game. Remember he is only 19 years old and entering a entirely new world. He's going to a team, where they expect him to be there savior. He won't have Shaq out there protecting him like D-Wade did in Miami.

i think of Durant could have a plenty speedier consequence in his first year than the different participant interior the draft. he's NBA waiting and could score from everywhere on the courtroom. Given the incontrovertible fact that Seattle did an overhaul (not greater Allen, Lewis) you're lookin at Durant probable playin greater suitable than 35 minutes a game and gettin a minimum of 20 shot tries. i'm predicting he will have an quite good rookie year 20pts, 8reb, 2ast, 40% capturing. on the different hand I see Oden fairly suffering in his first year. a brilliant form of individuals say he's plenty like Duncan or Ewing yet Oden doesnt have a good face up game and his low submit strikes arent as polished yet. I see him being greater like of a shielding and rebounding presence early on. I see him following an analogous direction that Emeka Okafor has long previous down in his first years like 13pts, 10rebs, 2blks a game.

Already is. Oden's a dominant, talented, athletic, pure center. Portland would have been stupid not to pick him. While Durant will no doubt be successful, he's more of a risk at the position of small forward. He better help out Seattle though. But you can't pass up a Center.

It's been announced by ESPN that the Portland Trail Blazers will be selecting Greg Oden with their first pick. This is the right move.

100% sure Oden will go number 1. And he should. I see these two like Russell and Chamberlain. Oden will win the most and be the most team oriented, but Durant will probably have an unbelievable individual career.

Well the blazers said they'll go with Oden, but still it can go either way, Kevin or Greg.

No doubt Oden will be picked first. Actually, Blazers have already indicated (and it seems they told Oden too) , that he will be picked.
